This week's Gallery is 'November' : "Show us what your November has meant to you, with one photo."
Cog had her 3-in-1 for tetanus, diphtheria and polio. For the very last time I got out the red book given to me when I was expecting and we sat in the waiting room together. I had a rush of her going from a tiny baby to a young women as we sat there together. After the injection the nurse made the last post in her red record book and here endeth another chapter.
The next day I went up into the attic and sorted out her first car seat. My cousin's baby is due very soon. I carefully washed it all ready to be used as 'standy seat' by new Grandma.
I found with it a bag of maternity clothes, I always thought I would have more babies. I've put them into the charity bag now.
I've put her old swing seat and high chair out to go to the rubbish tip but the small bag of her baby clothes I saved have stayed tucked safely away. I'm not ready to let go of them yet.
I know it's a one photo post but I only blinked honestly and the chair was empty.
I remember taking this photo. She had been crying for a while. We had to go somewhere the where is lost to me now and I put her in her seat ready to go. Truly fed up with the noise and stress, I remember deciding to capture the moment thinking 'I am so fed up with this right now but one day I might miss it'.
I was right.
