About Me

I have been a Guider for 40 years, I have either run or supported Rangers, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows.

I dabbled in training for a while before quickly realising I did not have the free time to commit, but I mentored for at least 20 years. 

I love the outdoors, am bushcraft trained, adept at camping when my health now allows. I have taken girls on internationals and large scale camps.  

I love Guiding.  It gives me a sense of belonging. It is my leveller of what is important and moralistically right.  I know I am helping to shape the good citizens of the future and above all it is fun.

I am now approaching my sunset years as in guiding as my energy fades, but my enthusiasm still lives!
