How many pairs of shoes is normal?

I decided to clear up my shoe cupboard by investing in clear plastic shoeboxes.  I 'discovered' 82 pairs of shoes, sandals and boots.  Is this normal?

I felt vindicated because they all slightly different, shade, colour, heel, style etc etc.  My main worry was the collection of 11 pairs of black heels but again I could justify every one for a different occasion or outfit.

I like shoes, they make me happy.  That is very shallow isn't it?!

I'm even happier now my cupboard looks so tidy too.

Shoes today, tomorrow I'll think about world peace.
