Leicestershire Round Round 1 (Rocky Charnwood)

The Leicestershire Round is a 100 mile circular walk around Leicestershire

I've decided this year I shall do it.

I'm going to follow Leicestershire County Council's guide book

So my first outing was the short 8.5 mile Charnwood section.

Starting in Bradgate Park

You can't go wrong walking around here.  It owns my soul.

It went through Swithland. Past, and over, the steam railway.

And into Mountsorrel.

It was a really easy pleasant walk.

I'm looking forward to the rest.
