Autumn is a Fiery Blaze

Autumn is a fiery blaze
Misty nights
And windy days.

This poem is on a picture I stitched many years ago and I love it.

Autumn is my favourite season.

It is also the time of year that I go on pilgrimage to Walsingham.  There are plenty of candles creating the blaze.

Although the mist was a morning one.

 And the air was as still as can be.
