Guide Camp

This was taken as the sun was coming up and I was above the mist in the valley.

It is very close to where I live in a beautiful Guiding camp site. The person that donated the land gave an immeasurable gift to so many generations of woman and the people that strive to keep it such a wonderful place now work very hard indeed.

Many of you know I regularly take Brownies to here but this week I am camping with the Guides.

Camping is not normally my thing but I am hoping the hard sleeping mat will be offset by these sorts of moments.

With a bit of this thrown in for good measure!
