No Work Clobber

Western Australia has a fairly relaxed attitude to clothes in general which necessitates these sort of signs, but it raised some interesting thoughts from my daughter.

Would (step)dad be allowed in after work because he wears a  suit?  maybe if he swapped his tie for a cravat?

What if a vet stopped by after work, would they turn him away? Perhaps it depends on what his greens are splattered in?

What if a doctor stopped by after work, would they turn him away?  Perhaps it depends on what his white coat is splattered in?!

I wonder if they would have let Bon Scott in?!

It took me a long time to convince my Perth born husband that it isn't acceptable to go to the local store in bare feet in rural England, looks like Perth might have been listening to me too!
