This weeks Gallery is Self Portrait, hard as I regularly post lots of pictures of me.

I've tried to capture something of my nature, the essence of who I am.

Never one to be still, I like to be busy.

A day at the beach is a day of sandcastle building, often alone!

Even in Perth where the sand is substandard for sandcastles. I'm the only person with a spade!

I'm also tenacious. I stayed behind on the beach in France to finish this masterpiece even after the rest of my party had gone back to the pool.

Reminder to oneself : dig out child before leaving beach.
