Leicestershire Round Completed

At the start of the year I said I would do the Leicestershire Round, and I have done it.

I'm proud of myself.  I know it's not a massive achievement in in terms of miles (100) or hills (1 or 2 inclines!)  but so often I sit and think "I would like to do that" and mostly I don't do it.

And that's what makes it important to me, I thought I would and I did.


I have the official Footpath Association badge and the Girlguiding badge.  It was pure coincidence that Leicestershire Guiding had a 'push' on the round this year, I had no idea when I decided to do it.

It was also coincidence that I started it within weeks of the new guide book being published.

So 2 guide books, 2 badges, 100 miles and a nice self satisfied feeling.
