The light caught my eye

This week's Gallery is Light

 It's not that the company was boring, I think it's more that I was sat facing the wall at the Ape and Bird and the light caught my eye.

 Gas lights, without the gass.

But the old style filament bulbs also seem to becoming part of history and the gentle light they give off is so warm and lovely, even when hazed by dust.

















This one is in the V&A, I just happened to glance up as I went out of the door and was captivated.










But sometimes you don't have to be lucky and glance in the right direction, sometimes the beautiful light is unmissable.

 

I am still very proud of my bulb photos from the last time the gallery theme was light. They are worth taking a look at.
