Purpose

I am often waffling on about how Guiding's "purpose" is important to me. Well, it has an official Statement of Purpose:
Girlguiding UK enables girls and young women to develop their potential and to
make a difference to the world.
BUT if the girls knew they were coming for that - they wouldn't come!!!!
I think it will have to be a Leaders little secret and keep letting the girls think they are just there for the fun!!

Well, I do kind of tell them - I tell them they are there to have fun and to learn to work in different teams, and that they will get to do lots of things that will help them be a better person, that will help them learn about their community and help their community, and learn about the world and how they can make a difference in the world.
Which is a much longer way of writing the same statement of purpose...but makes more sense to them!
That's all I remember! The fun!
