Read those links, they say so much more than I could in a book review and they compelled me to read the book.


This book is a compilation of letters a group of women wrote regularly for their own exclusive magazine starting in the 1930's right through to 1990.


The shared experiences written under pseudonyms created an enduring bond between the women that reached out to me and the way I feel about the 'circle' of blogs I read. Their comments left against the entries are similar to the comments I receive and leave. What a remarkable parallel to our blogs this book is. As Fat, Frumpy and Fifty so succinctly put it "Plus Ca Change."
