Even trees wear shades

This week's Gallery is Sunshine as it has finally arrived in the UK after a lot of rain.

I went out for a walk after reading the theme to get some photos and diligently didn't take my camera with me.  So this week we are iphone quality! 

It was seriously beating down still at 6pm.

The rays reaching out like fingers.

Getting low but still so bright.

The trees, still quite sparse from the cold spring, offered little shade.

And I stumbled across one tree wearing a pair of sunnies.

And it was still a long way home, over the hill and far away.
