A day at the beach is a day of sandcastle building, often alone!
Even in Perth where the sand is substandard for sandcastles. I'm the only person with a spade!
I'm also tenacious. I stayed behind on the beach in France to finish this masterpiece even after the rest of my party had gone back to the pool.
Reminder to oneself : dig out child before leaving beach.
